Delivery and Returns

Order Delivery

  • Standard Delivery: Most orders placed before 4:30 pm Monday- Friday arrive next business day via DPD (excluding weekends and holidays).
  • Same Day Delivery: Available for orders placed before 2:00 pm (London based shipping address only)
  • Friday Orders: All cold chains orders placed on Friday will be dispatched on Monday unless same day service or Saturday service is booked while placing the order.
  • Upgrade Options: Expedited delivery by 10:30 am or 12:00 pm is available for an extra fee (subject to location).
  • Special Delivery: Timed deliveries are unavailable in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
  • Delivery Delays: Wimpole Pharmacy is not responsible for delays caused by their third-party couriers.
  • While we strive for on-time deliveries, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by our couriers. In these cases, delivery charge refunds are unavailable.
  • Wimpole Pharmacy is not responsible for lost income due to non-delivery or delays.

Delivery Issues

  • Missed Delivery: If you miss your delivery, your package may be taken to a local pickup shop for collection. You’ll receive notification via mobile or email if this occurs.
  • Returned Delivery: If your order is returned due to a missed delivery, a new delivery fee will apply for resending it.
  • Incorrect Address: Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Wimpole Pharmacy is not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses.
  • Lost or Damaged Orders:
    • Product Protection: For an additional fee, you can purchase coverage for lost, damaged, or delayed deliveries (including cold chain disruptions).
    • No Protection: If you decline product protection, you’ll need to file a claim with DPD directly. Their compensation may be limited.

Cold Chain Products

  • Temperature Sensitive: Certain products require refrigeration (cold chain).
  • Failed Cold Chain Delivery: You have 72 hours to arrange redelivery or pickup from a local depot for cold chain orders. Wimpole Pharmacy will not replace or refund orders collected outside this timeframe.
  • Pickup Options: If you choose to pick up your cold chain order from a neighbor or pickup shop, you must do so within 24 hours to maintain proper temperature control.

International Shipping Information

  • Please note that you are responsible for any customs fees or charges associated with your international order. Wimpole Pharmacy will not be held liable for abandoned parcels due to unpaid customs duties.
  • We cannot guarantee delivery timelines for international orders. While we aim for delivery within 5 to 10 working days, delays can occur due to customs processing or attempts by our delivery partner to reach you regarding import duties.
  • In the unfortunate event that your order is returned to us due to missed customs clearance or delivery, a refund will be issued for the products only. However, a new delivery fee will apply if you choose to have the order reshipped.
  • We are not liable for any loss of income due to non-delivery or late deliveries caused by customs or courier delays.

Returns

  • Incorrect or Faulty Items: Contact us immediately if you receive a faulty, incorrect, or unusable product. Do not discard the product, as returns will not be accepted without inspection.
  • Return Policy: Only faulty, incorrect, or recalled products can be returned. Products cannot be returned once they leave Wimpole’s supply chain due to patient safety concerns.
